Ukraine's Kiev Ballet will bring the classic ballet work, Swan Lake, to Beijing on Dec 30 at the Great Hall of the People.

Founded by renowned choreographer S. Lenchevsky in 1867, the Kiev Ballet, also known as the National Ballet of Ukraine, is famous for classical ballet.

Under the leadership of renowned choreographers, Serguey Sergueev and Vakhtang Vronskiy, the Kiev Ballet has become one of the most respected ballet groups in the world.

Anatoliy Shekera, one of the best-known Ukrainian choreographers, was the head of the theater's ballet troupe over 1992-2000.
