The invited competition judges are all experts in various e-sports industries and the judging team consists of 23 members. Judges will also cooperate with the organizers to research and participate in the industrial standard discussion to promote e-sports development in China.

Furthermore, the competition will be broadcast live through LeTV.

Wang Ping, director of CGA Company, said both the professional judging team and the live broadcast of the contest will be a brave step forward for the e-sports industry in China.

The competition is intended to acknowledge the outstanding entrepreneurs, enterprises, and programs that contribute to the promotion of e-sports and to award the excellent players who push the development of the industry in China.

At the opening ceremony of the competition, Ding Dong, director of the Sports Information Center of the General Administration of Sports of China, said electronic sports is a newly-developed sporting category born from the idea of Internet plus sports. It is a way to inspire players' teamwork and reward self-motivated bravery and spirit.

Furthermore, a guiding opinion for accelerating the development of fitness and leisure industry, published by the General Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, referred to the further promotion of extreme sports, electronic sports, fencing, and golfing, and to expand the related training market.
