The 2016 Zhongguancun Global Innovation Forum opened on Oct 17 at the Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing.
Chen Yusen, president of Chaitin Tech, a company focused on offering cyber security solutions, was invited to give a speech at the opening ceremony on new methods to promote cyber security and entrepreneurial attitudes young entrepreneurs should have.
Chen said at the beginning, it was just several youngsters driven by their interest in the Internet and participating in hacker competitions. To their surprise, by competing they received very good results, and discovered a commercial demand for their talents. So they decided to establish a cyber security service company -- Chaitin Tech.
He said competitive techniques are basic to a technical company, but it’s also necessary to promote the technologies and make the new ideas on cyber security protection acceptable to the market. Only in that way can the technology become useful and powerful.
The Zhongguancun Global Innovation Forum was sponsored by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the government of Haidian District of Beijing and Shengjing Technology Co., Ltd. More than 500 entrepreneurs, leading venture investors, innovative talents and industry experts attended the event.
