The 2nd Zhongguancun International Startup Festival opened at Tsinghua University in Beijing on August 9. Thousands of entrepreneurs, 3,500 enterprises, investors and venture capital institutions from China and other countries attended the event.

This year's festival startup competition is divided into four areas: China, the US, Israel and Europe. Twenty competitors from new economic areas like AR/VR, intelligent manufacturing, culture and entertainment and Internet plus, will be selected to enter a final contest.

The festival’s goal is to be a top innovation event in the world and to be the entrepreneurship pivot between China and other countries.
