The opening ceremony of the 5th International Adolescents Culture and Art Exchange Week was unveiled at the Beijing University Hall on August 4.
About 300 youngsters from 15 countries gave a series of performances at the opening event. Young Chinese performers showcased traditional Chinese martial arts.
Chinese singers Lv Wei and Shi Peng also performed a series of Chinese songs.
The group will visit many historical sites in Beijing on August 5-9 and get a better understanding of Chinese culture and the charm of Beijing.
