After last year's successful collaboration with the EOS Repertoire Orchestra, China World Summit Wing, Beijing, is to bring classical music to the capital once again with New Year with Summit New Year Concert 2016.

The concert will start with a cocktail reception and gala dinner in the hotel's China Ballroom on Jan 1. The concert will be held in the Summit Ballroom on the third floor of the hotel.

The orchestra will comprise renowned conductor Hu Yongyan, pianist Tan Xiaotang, violinist Yang Xiaoyu, concert master Zhang Jingye and 90 musicians of the EOS orchestra.

Xi Wang, one of China's emerging coloratura sopranos, will also join the orchestra. Together, they will showcase classical music masterpieces by Tchaikovsky, Suppe, Johann Strauss II and Sarasate.

The hotel's culinary team has also created an exclusive dinner menu for the concert. Guests will be treated to a contemporary Western menu paired with selected wines.

Tickets for the Summit Concert are priced at 1,888 yuan ($300), which includes cocktails and a gala dinner. Concert-only tickets are at 980 ($151.31), 680 and 380 yuan.
