Before the 1894’s Olympic Games in the US, no holding country made profit from the games. Munich spent $1 billion in holding 1972’s Olympics. Montreal in Canada spent more than $2 billion in holding 1976’s Olympics. Moscow in Russia spent as much as $9 billion in holding 1980’s Olympic Games.
