Trends in fashion and technology

Models of cars, onlookers, fitness, disposition, easy-to-match, and SUV were the top six tags that appeared in the most-read fashion articles. The top tags for tech articles were models of cars, cell phones, Xiaomi, SUV, Apple and Huawei.

Fashion traffic peaked from 10 to 11 pm at night, whereas traffic for tech surged between 9 to 10 pm. 16.9% of Toutiao users are interested in fashion and 13.5% interested in technology. Users from Yunnan, Qinghai and Liaoning provinces expressed higher interest in style than users from other geographical areas, and those residing in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou of Guangdong province cared more about science and technology.

Users in the capital cared most about Chanel, while Dior seemed to win the hearts of those in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Xi'an of Shaanxi province.
