Zhongguancun is cooperating with Tianjin and Hebei to build industrial bases and innovation communities, says the Zhongguancun Administrative Commission. Zhongguancun is becoming a driving force of entrepreneurship in Beijing, Tianjin,and Hebei.
The establishment of a regional industrial belt will promote cooperation among universities and develop an ecology for entrepreneurship.
Corporations in Zhongguancun have launched more than 1,300 branch offices and 603 subsidiary companies in Hebei, as well as 768 branches and 658 subsidiaries in Tianjin. Moreover, Zhongguancun's subsidiary science parks have cooperated with science parks in Hebei.
The office of "eValley Creative Space", a business incubator, is opening in one month. Located in the No.12 Technological Standard Workshop in Qinhuangdao Development Area, the office is designed as a duplex studio in modern style. Each staffer has about eight square meters of workspace.
Eligible corporations may use the offices for free for six to 24 months. Earning profits from value-added services, the incubation model is expanding from Zhonguancun to Tianjin and Hebei.
The Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park launched a subsidiary park in Qinhuangdao in May, 2014. Many technological corporations and incubators based in Zhongguancun moved in.
As a center of technological innovation, Zhongguancun has unique branding and management experience. Therefore, exporting its management experience is one of the most important roles of Zhongguancun.
Zhongguancun is cooperating with Baoding city in Hebei province to establish an innovation center. The center will promote the expansion of Zhongguancun's technological, financial, and business services in Baoding and surrounding areas.
A total of 14 institutions including North China Electric Power University, Zhongguancun Tianhe Technological Promotion Center, and Cybernaut Investment Group have become the first cooperating partners. Twenty more are considering joining the program.
Apart from the cooperation in science parks, corporations and associations in Zhongguancun, Tianjin, and Hebei have built integrated innovation platforms.
TITH Holdings and Tianjin Dongli District Government developed an incubator with 30,000 square meters and more than 90 corporations.
China Technology Exchange and Hebei Science and Technology Bureau established a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Regional Technology Trading Center to promote the integration of innovative resources in Hebei based on the information service platform powered by China Technology Exchange.
Moreover, Peking University's Entrepreneurship Training Club launched a base at the Tianjin Airport Economic Area.
The first training class provided business courses to 70 entrepreneurs as well as 20 college students interested in entrepreneurship. Renowned professors of Peking University and leading entrepreneurs were tutors.
Cross-regional developments are accelerating continuously. Focusing on the technological development in Tianjin and Hebei, enterprises based in Zhongguancun are launching technological research and development cooperation, program integration, and branch institutions. A group of advanced programs have been launched, applied, and promoted in the region.
Zhongguancun has advantages in energy conservative and environmental protection. A wave of corporations with advanced technology have been providing support to solve environmental problems in the region.
