Cao Guang returned to the fight against Ebola soon after he was released from quarantine.

Cao conducted more than 200 surgeries on Guinean patients during his two-year stay, more than often in harsh conditions.

Conakry was often stroke by power cut, which pose a tough challenge for doctors in conducting surgery. Cao Guang once performed an appendix resection with the light of an electric torch.
