The activity included lectures, medicinal herb exhibitions, books exhibition, and consultation for people who are interested in traditional Chinese medical, with about 80,000 pocket books available for visitors.

A special activity providing basic guide about diet, exercise, and traditional Chinese nursing was available to deal with various problems in home stay nursing, on May 9.

The Beijing TCM Office says it will help establish 300 "Sanlian Schools", where common people can gain some traditional Chinese medicine knowledge and learn some techniques, over the next 3-5 years, for healthier living habit, more rational diets and better heath.

This 3-day event has been held for years by the Beijing TCM Office and Dongcheng district.
