What is the Meet in Beijing Arts Festival?

An international arts festival held yearly in Beijing. The festival aims at promoting cultural exchanges by presenting Chinese culture while introducing international arts.

When does the Festival take place?

From late April to the end of May annually.

Where does the Festival take place?

Festival events and programs take place throughout Beijing and its suburbs.For example, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Poly Theatre,Tsinghua University, PLA Theater. We also produce live concerts or music festivals in the National Stadium, Chaoyang Stadium, Tongzhou Canal Park and the Capital Steel Factory.

What sorts of events occur during the Festival?

Indoor events: opera, dance, music, drama and exhibition.

Outdoor events: music and dance.

What kind of media report the Festival?

TV: China Central Television (CCTV), Beijing TV

Newspaper: The People's Daily, China Newsweek, China Daily and other local papers

 Website: Tencent, Sina, 163, Sohu……

Radio: Radio Beijing, China Radio International…… OOH

Promotion: Banners, panels, digital screens and subway TVs

What is the financial condition for participants of the Festival?

The Festival covers all local costs, including venue rental, technical support,local transportation, meals, accommodation and promotion. The artists cover their international travel expenses, cargo transportation and performance fee. There are exceptions for world-famous artists and groups.
