"The coaches said they liked my attitude," said Ren Wei, a second grader in Beijing Huimin School.
"By attitude, I think they mean my love and passion for football."
Ren started his training sessions at the QPR on March 19 and said he was impressed by the use of technology in training.
"Sometimes coaches asked us to put on an outfit equipped with a sensor. The sensor would record all vital statistics after our training."
In addition, he said interest has priority over cooperation or tactics among young players.
"In China, if kids dribble all the time the coach will stop them. That is because we value cooperation from the very beginning. Yet in the UK, you can play as you want. Cooperation and tactics training start for those aged above 18."
Ren said he liked the UK's training style with interest as the strongest motivation.
Ren started playing football in primary school. Before going to the UK, he received training at the Guoan Yueye Club in Beijing.
