A plan to build a credibility system for social organization was made during a conference hosted by the Zhongguancun Federation of Social Organizations in the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center on Feb 6.
The plan includes making credit record reports of social organizations, establishing a credibility database, carrying out credit training, cultivating social organization consciousness of self-discipline, and developing a system of rewards and penalties.
"We should gradually establish an information resources database for social organizations and make information known to the public," said Wang Xiaolan, president of the organization.
By the end of 2014, 141 Zhongguancun social organizations have registered in the Social Community Management Office of the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, including 99 social groups, 37 private non-enterprise units and five foundations.
These innovative social organizations have played an important role in building a communication bridge, upgrading innovative ability, serving member enterprises and promoting industrial development by making use of their member resources and industrial advantages.
