Ice lantern show for Beijing's Olympics bid opens

The opening ceremony of an ice lantern show set up to promote Beijing's bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics was held at the Beijing Worker's Stadium on Dec 30.

The show, sponsored by the Beijing Federation of Labor Unions and the municipal government of Harbin, and supported by the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee, will last until Feb 13, 2015.
