A group led by Zhang Mao, head of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), inspected Zhongguancun Science Park on Nov 15.
The group visited the exhibition hall of Zhongguancun Innovation Street, 3W Cafe and Binggo Cafe.
The group also held a meeting with representatives from the Beijing Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce and the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee. They listened to reports on the latest achievements of Zhongguancun and discussed how to promote its development.
Zhang spoke highly of all the achievements that Zhongguancun has made in recent years during the meeting. He also put forward several requirements for the Park's next work, including further improving policies and measures for business management reform, strengthening market supervision, creating a good environment for technological innovation, building a fair market, and supporting the innovation of small and micro businesses.
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce have paid great attention to Zhongguancun. They have made 43 supporting policies to help innovation and entrepreneurship in Zhongguancun, which achieved great success.
