Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, appeared on Wednesday for a class dialogue with university students at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management after being nominated as a member of the advisory board of the school, along with IBM Chief Executive Virginia Rometty and Anheuser-Busch InBev SA CEO Carlos Brito.
Zuckerberg said he would push forward cooperation with Tsinghua University during a talk on Tuesday with Chen Jining, president of Tsinghua University. After being banned in China since 2009, Facebook has showed continuing passion in reentering China, including a visit in 2010 to executives of country's most powerful Internet giants such as Robin Li, CEO of China's largest search engine Baidu. The ties made with China's top business school this time is believed to be a new way for Zuckerberg to crack the most promising market. In the following days, Zuckerberg will participate in the school's annual board meeting and meet with other partners, according to Facebook.
