An alliance in the energy conservation industry was established in Beijing on Oct 19.
It aims to utilize all the resources related to energy conservation and help set technical and product standards. It hopes to serve as a platform to support the energy conservation industry by facilitating a favorable environment for that industry.
Chen Zuobo, president of the Top Resource Conservation Company, was elected as the first chairman of the alliance. Dong Changqing, professor of North China Electric Power University, was appointed as its first supervising chairman.
Most members of the alliance are energy companies such as Top Resource Conservation Engineering Co, Beijing Shenwu Environment & Energy Technology Co, CECEP Building Energy Conservation Co, Beijing Yuanshen Energy-saving Technology Co, Beijing Lepro Seva Da Science and Technology Co, Shuoren Energy Co, GD Longyuan Power Technology & Engineering Co, Broad Energy Co and Beijing Gas Energy Developments Co.
