BEIJING - Beijing, and the nearby Tianjin municipality and Hebei province will be once again shrouded by smog beginning Thursday, the local observatory predicted on Wednesday.
The region will see slight to heavy smog in the coming three days, according to Beijing Meteorological Bureau. Smog will spread from southwest Hebei province to the north part of the region.
The condition will be short-lived as a cold front is expected later on Saturday to help disperse the smog, the bureau said.
Beijing has enjoyed two days of fresh air after a cold front swept away the heavy smog that lingered in the city last weekend.
