The administrative committee of Zhongguancun Science Park recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Wuxi government in Beijing. It marked the set-up of the Taihu branch of Zhongguancun Science Park.
Based on the park's abundant innovation resources, strong influence and Wuxi's sound development environment, the branch aims to explore the cooperative development pattern of a trans-regional industry and new pattern of benefit sharing, promote the exchange of innovation resources and construction of a new strategic industry, and attract more leading enterprises.
Zhongguancun Science Park is the first National Innovation Model Area with the largest industrial scale, the strongest innovation ability and the highest industrial level. By building an urban technological cooperation platform and developing a new strategic industry, the park has attracted a batch of national R&D centers and innovative enterprises, promoting the integration of technical demands and resources.
The branch is an important industrial platform for resources exchange between the two cities.
Twenty-five enterprises have signed agreements by the end of May, including Intel's joint innovation center and Wuxi Ckylaser.
