A seminar on finance and technology services was recently held in Zhongguancun's Shijingshan Park.
The main venue offered sessions including a briefing on the park, an analysis of the statistics of Zhongguancun, a presentation on how IPR may help the innovation of Zhongguancun, the policy of recognition of technology contracts, and policies regarding the recognition of high-tech companies and the procedures to apply for the technology.
The four sub-forums were themed with policies on technology incubators, finance and technology services and how IPR can facilitate companies' development, as well as policies on technology projects.
There was also an exchange session themed around finance and technology services, which was cosponsored by the Shijingshan Technology and Finance Service Federation and Shijingshan Technological Services Federation.
The two federations invited experts to discuss issues with entrepreneurs on various subjects, including science and technology services, technology innovation, science and technology consultation and finance for technology. Company representatives present also raised questions regarding financing and IPR protection.
The seminar gained the recognition and support of participating enterprises.
Officials from different bureaus made a detailed explanation regarding the policies to the corporation representatives. These officials came from Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Intellectual Property Bureau, Beijing Statistics Bureau, Beijing Technology Market Office, Zhongguancun Administration Committee, Zhongguancun IPR Promotion Bureau, The Electronic Knowledge IPR Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information, and the court of the Shijingshan district.
The federation is considering hosting exchange activities with different themes and in different forms to help enterprises catch up with the latest policies, and find out ways to solve the problems facing them. By integrating all the technology service resources, the federation aims to create a sound investment environment in Shijingshan.
