Chinese search engine company Baidu Inc announced that the company's developer start-up center in the city has been formally established in Tianjin.

This is Baidu's third regional start-up center, following those already operational in Chengdu and Xiamen.

This new Tianjin Baidu developer start-up center is located in Hongqiao district; and with an office area of over 3,000 square meters, it can accommodate more than 20 start-up teams and can provide various resources and services, covering free office areas, Baidu cloud platform resources, technical instruction, business audits, financial services, and legal services.

Li Mingyuan, vice president of Baidu, said that his company would provide multi-level services and support to teams located in the developer start-up center. Meanwhile, this new center is expected to accelerate the transformation of local enterprises from traditional companies to mobile Internet service companies.

The company plans to build similar facilities in cities such as Beijing and Shanghai in the future.
