Exhibition to highlight role of S&T innovation in cultural industry

An exhibition area will be set up to showcase Beijing's achievements in promoting the development of culture and creative industries through S&T innovation at the upcoming 17th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC).

The exhibition area will display the new products and outcomes of integration between cultural and creative industries and S&T innovation in nine categories, including press and publishing, broadcasting, film and TV, Internet media, tourism and entertainment, creative design and cultural equipment.

More than 30 businesses from the city will meet the spectators with their new cultural products featuring high-tech elements.

The expo will run between May 13 and May 18.
