Zhongguancun’s Haidian Science Park will launch a campaign to popularize knowledge of intellectual property protection ahead of World Intellectual Property Day, which falls on April 26.
"Haidian district has paid high attention to intellectual property protection. This year’s campaign contains a group of activities, including training courses on different themes, a case study and on-site consulting services," according to Wang Ying, head of the district’s Intellectual Property Office.
"Meanwhile, a forum on intellectual property protection was held in Zhongguancun on April 25. Representatives from government, enterprises and service organizations attended the forum and discussed how to further protect intellectual property rights," Wang added.
The Intellectual Property Office of Haidian district will take various measures to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, including providing assistance to overseas intellectual property cases, hosting international summits and setting up intellectual property funds. In recent years, Haidian district has formulated a strategy of intellectual property protection, creating a good environment for the development of its enterprises and industries.
