This year’s forum on the cooperation and development of the Beijing-Taiwan capital market was held in Beijing’s Zhongguancun Software Park on April 16, Xinhua News Agency reported on Thursday.
Participants, including mainland and international venture capital leaders, discussed how to promote the development and cooperation of the cross-Straits capital market. Financial agencies from Taiwan introduced their competitive advantages and characteristics of the Taiwan capital market at the forum.
Zhou Guolin, deputy director of the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee; Zhang Youlin, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work; and Jian Lizhong; vice-general manager of Taiwan Stock Exchange attended the forum.
The event was organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipal Government, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work, Zhongguancun Administrative Committee and Haidian’s district government.
