Tsinghua Unisplendour Corporation Limited (UNIS), the first university-owned company of Tsinghua University, achieved 8.52 billion yuan ($1.37 billion) revenue in 2013, with a year-on-year growth of 30.4 percent, according to the Zhongguancun administrative committee.
Last year, UNIS formulated its development strategy under the trend of electronic information technology, including providing infrastructure services, application solutions and platforms for the cloud computing industry.
The world’s first "cloud computer" - "Ziyun 1000" - was developed independently by the company in 2013, marking a significant breakthrough in the core technology of cloud computing.
The company will continue to promote the "cloud strategy” this year, aiming to transform from a traditional software and information technology service provider into a professional cloud service provider.
