Bomb suspect to be prosecuted

Police have ended the investigation of a man suspected of detonating a homemade explosive device at Beijing Capital International Airport on July 20. Authorities confirmed on Monday that the case of Ji Zhongxing had been transferred to Chaoyang District People's Procuratorate for prosecution. Police said that Ji had confessed to the crime. The 34-year-old suspect, who uses a wheelchair, has been petitioning the government for more than 10 years alleging that police abuse caused his paralysis.
