Poor graduates to get subsidies

College graduates from poor families in Beijing could get annual subsidies of 1,000 yuan ($163) each this year, the Beijing Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security said on Tuesday. The bureau called on college graduates to actively seek jobs even though it's reportedly the most difficult employment season this year, the Beijing News reported. The number of college graduates hit a historic high of 6.99 million this year.
