The Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park is located off of West Chang’an Avenue, 15 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square, Subway Line 1, along with a myriad of buses that go to the park. It covers an area of about 35 million square meters, the existing large and medium-sized recreation projects number more than 100 items, which is Asia's largest theme park and entertainment project. In recent years, Shijingshan Amusement Park has upheld the "integrity-based, visitors come first " business philosophy, implementing a "focus on management inside and outside the plastic image" working principles and has implemented a "quality first, safety first, so visitors can be at ease, and have fun” policy, to manage everything, while maintaining a secure, prosperous, and socially beneficial amusement park.

The Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park has, since September 1986, been open, and has gradually become a large modern theme park. In recent years, it has been placed among the other nationwide AAAA tourist areas, and crowned the “National Advanced Unit of Spiritual Civilization Construction,” the “National Advanced Amusement Park,” the “Leader of Civilization and Tourist Attractions,” the “Chief of Ping’an’s Model Tourist Attractions,” and the “Key Advanced Unit Travel Destination” for six consecutive years. In 2007 it earned the Capital of Labor Certificate. The park has passed the ISO-9001 Health and Sanitation Certification in 2000 proving that it meets international quality management standards.

It has increased investments, accelerated development, and maintained sustainable growth. Average received domestic and foreign tourist head counts remain at 200 million, keeping it the country's high-tech amusement industry that has the largest number of entertainment projects and roller coasters.

The park features cultural activities, including the Beijing Yang Temple, Melody Spring Garden Party, Global Baby Qing 6-1, Summer Carnival, Joy Autumn Garden Party of Deng Jun. Foreign festivals, since 2001, have earned the community much recognition, making the Yang Temple one of the Nationwide Top Eight Temples. The “Floating Stage" road show is a flying Shijingshan Amusement Park exhibit that features the number one activity; many shows of various styles of parade floats and balloons, and famous performing groups performed by European performance squads show off rather exotic passion for song and dance.
