On March 7, 2012, Dai Yulin, secretary of the Dandong municipal Party committee and Shi Guang, mayor of Dandong met with business representatives attending the Dandong (Beijing) entrepreneur investment fair. They exchanged ideas on project construction, cooperation, investment development and mutual benefits during the meeting.
Dai discussed measures for construction problems with entrepreneurs from eight enterprises. He said there will be many projects that start work in 2012 in Dandong. These include urban infrastructure construction, restructuring of industrial product mix as well as modern agricultural and business logistics.
This investment aims to promote wider cooperation between Dandong and more known enterprises. The regional governments and authorities can consult and work out feasible programs with enterprises to ensure various projects will start construction soon.
Shi held a meeting with representatives from seven enterprises including Tianjin Rockcheck Steel Group, Beijing Fuxing Xiaocheng Electronic Technology Stock Co Ltd and the Pan-China Group. They talked about solutions for their problems in land use, city planning and project approval. The regional departments will provide support and high-quality service to create a good investment environment for enterprises, he said.
This investment fair adopts point-to-point marketing for 15 projects. The projects involve real estate, processing and manufacturing, tourism, business synthesis, infrastructure improvement, agricultural and sideline products storage and circulation, garbage disposal, and urban traffic.
