Under the agreement signed here on Wednesday, SOHU.com Inc. (NASDAQ:SOHU) will provide exclusive Internet Content Service (ICS) for the Chinese delegation to the 2006 Summer Asian Games, 2007 Winter Asian Games and the 2008 Olympic Games.

SOHU, the ICS sponsor of the 2008 Olympic Games, will use its peer-to-peer (P2P) video technology to make an all-round multimedia news coverage of Asian Games' development and Chinese delegation's activities, including ways of video, photo and flash. The real-time report of Chinese delegation's official press information, exclusive live cast of the press conference by the Chinese delegation, and the interaction with Chinese medalists will highlight the coverage.

During the Asian Games, SOHU will serve as a platform for the delegation's publicity and news release and will build up a thorough database for members of the delegation.

In his address, Wang Jun, vice minister of the State General Administration of Sport (SGAS), said "the cooperation between the two sides will further increase SOHU's brand awareness and reputation."

SOHU CEO Charles Zhang said his team will "bring the latest news on the performance of the Chinese athletes to the audience at any time, any place."

Olympic champions, including veteran diver Guo Jingjing and table tennis player Zhang Yining, voiced their joys at witnessing the signing ceremony and extended their congratulations to the sponsor, saying they will continue the trainings to clinch more titles for the country.

Ma Jilong, director of the Administration Center for Sports Equipment with SGAS, and Chen Luming, SOHU vice president, signed the contract on behalf of the two sides.
