From Made in China to Created in China—the development of Thyssen

The management of Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony with representatives from ThyssenKrupp North America on March 11, 2008.

The signing was important for Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd, and it indicates that the traction machines produced by Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd have entered the high-end market in America successfully. And the successful cooperation with Thyssen shows that the R&D of Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd has kept in step with the world. The cooperation was attributed to Thyssen America's production upgrade. The Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd developed a new generation of traction machine: Romeo, which was patent and matched with that upgrade. After a series of strict tests and certification, Thyssen America has affirmed the traction machines and took Romeo as main traction unit of its newest household elevator—Volant. And Thyssen's global purchasing center in Shanghai has recognized Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd. as one of its global suppliers. This also meant that the Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd had started to participate in the global cooperation of Thyssen.
