Premier Li Keqiang was warmly welcomed by Laotian senior officials on arrival at the Wattay International Airport in Vientiane Tuesday night.
The premier left Beijing for Laos in the afternoon to start his four-day trip to the neighboring country, which assumes the chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) this year.
In the next three days, Premier Li is scheduled to attend the 19th ASEAN-China Leaders' Meeting and the 19th ASEAN-China, Japan and South Korea Leaders' Meeting, as well as the 11th East Asia Summit.
