French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who co-chairs the expert group on energy price volatility, and Russia's Dmitry Medvedev, who leads the expert group tasked with maritime environmental protection, were among the most vocal leaders on the issues.
Calling for a more active role by the private sector in leading the world economy's recovery and growth, Lee briefed the G20 leaders on the outcome of Thursday's business summit, and asked for their interest in the joint statement issued at the end of the summit.
The president also stressed the need for holding the business summit regularly as an official process at the G20 summit.
