Third DCZ Open Day held in Beijing
The third DCZ Open Day, within the framework of the 2017 German-Chinese Agricultural Week, was held on Nov 29 in Beijing.
Founded in 2015, the Sino-German Agriculture center, or DCZ for short, is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of China and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture from Germany.
For three years, DCZ has been actively implementing the strategic consensus of the leaders of the two countries, in various areas of policy dialogue, corporate exchanges, academic exchanges and technical demonstrations. The development of Sino-German agricultural cooperation has been steady.
The annual DCZ Open Day serves as a forum to give numerous Sino-German initiatives a platform to present their work through short presentations, a poster session and stands. The DCZ is providing the frame and organizational setting. As with last year's event, a special session will present the work of the 2017 DCZ Agricultural Policy Dialogue.
At the event, there were open talks at exhibition stands, a presentation of Sino-German Agricultural Policy Dialogue activities and the results from 2017, an introduction of Sino-German Science and Technology Cooperation activities and an introduction of Sino-German Initiatives and Projects in Agriculture.
The forum was a meeting place, where contacts could be made with multiple stakeholders of the Sino-German agricultural sector from all arenas, including projects, science and business.
