ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday told the parliament that investigation has been ordered into the presence of Osama bin Laden in the city of Abbottabad.
Making a policy statement on the US Special Forces operation to kill the al-Qaida chief, the Prime Minister admitted failure of the Pakistani agencies to find out Osama bin Laden.
But he said that only Pakistani intelligence agency should not be blamed for the failure but agencies of other countries should also take responsibility for their failure.
Gilani said that facts could not hide for a long time and said that details of the inquiry into the US operation will be made public.
The prime minister warned against any attack on its strategic assets, saying that Pakistan will give a befitting response in case of any aggression.
