French President Francois Hollande on Sunday offered to hold a summit in Paris with Nigeria and its neighbors in a bid to tackle Boko Haram's abductions, local media reported.

Hollande made the remarks during his visit to the Azerbaijan capital Baku.

More than 200 girls of the community Chibok in Borno State in northeastern Nigeria were abducted in April. The militant group Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the mass kidnapping, and threatened to sell the girls.
