Steve Bannon, the White House chief strategist, is leaving, according to a White House statement on Friday morning. It said Friday will be the last day for Bannon at the White House.
Bannon has been rumored to be on the way out for some time, and this week he gave an interview with the "American Prospect" bashing other members of the Trump administration and contradicting Trump's position on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
He also said the US and China are in "economic war," words that immediately rejected by the Chinese foreign ministry.
