Many people confirmed dead in bus-truck collision in southern Germany

BERLIN - German police confirmed on Monday on the Twitter account that many people are dead in a tour bus-truck accident in southern Germany.
According to initial report of police, 30 people have been seriously injured and another 18 people are missing after a coach collided with a truck and caught fires.
A police spokesperson said that the bus comes from German state of Sachsen. It is unclear where the bus was heading and where the passengers come from.
The collision happened at around 7:00 am local time (0500 GMT) on Monday morning near Bavarian city of Muenchberg.
Local police announced that the A9 expressway will be closed in one direction for the whole day. Many helicopters are ready on the scene for the rescue.
