Prime Minister Kucinskis hailed the positive outcomes of this summit, and highlighted the shared expectations among the CEE countries for greater cooperation with China. CEE countries are ready to work with China to synergize development strategies, implement cooperation projects and move forward with cooperation in such areas as transport, finance, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges. At the same time, the two sides should endeavor to align the Belt and Road initiative with the Investment Plan for Europe, thereby contributing more to the development of Europe-China relations as a whole.
Prime Minister Orban commented that "16+1" cooperation serves the interests of CEE countries and opens a new window for Europe-China relations. Hungary is delighted to be the host of the next China-CEE Summit and will work to ensure its success.
