Premier Li Keqiang met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Riga, Latvia, on Nov 5.
He lauded the friendship and political mutual trust between the two countries, and achievements made in pragmatic cooperation.
The completion of the Hungary-Serbia railway will greatly shorten the transporting of goods between China and Europe and boost economic development of countries along the railway, said the Premier.

He said that China is willing to work with Hungary and other related parties to continue building the Hungary-Serbia railway, a flagship project, and achieve win-win results.
The Premier also expressed the hope that Hungary, as a European Union (EU) member, can play a positive role in urging the EU to fulfill obligations under Article 15 of the Protocol on China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and promote the healthy development of China-EU economic and trade relations.
Orban said that Hungary is willing to play an active role in promoting EU-China ties.
He said Hungary values its relationship with China, and is a trustworthy partner.
Orban said that Hungary is implementing the cooperation consensus reached by the two sides, and is ready to lift bilateral ties to a new level and jointly promote the deepening of the "16+1 cooperation".
