Li calls for stronger SCO security cooperation

BISHKEK - Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Thursday asked members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to further strengthen their cooperation and coordination on security and boost the construction of regional anti-terrorism institutions and mechanisms.
Li made the remarks at the 15th SCO prime ministers' meeting in Bishkek.
Calling on the SCO members to follow a concept of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, Li urged member states to deepen information exchange and law-enforcement cooperation, so as to ensure the safety of their peoples and other SCO members' institutions, enterprises and personnel in their territory.
