Russia conducts a balanced foreign policy aimed at protection of national interests and promotes the agenda of unification, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a message to members of the Diplomatic Club.
MOSCOW — According to Lavrov, Russia wants its foreign policy approaches to be clear for all partners including for the Moscow-based diplomatic staff.
"Our country conducts a balanced foreign policy course aimed at protection of [Russia]'s national interests, and at the same time Russia promotes the agenda of unification and looks for unanimous responses to common challenges," the message, read by President of the Russian Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Academy Evgeny Bazhanov, reads.
