HONG KONG -- A 6.5-magnitude quake jolted 127 km west-northwest of Kota Ternate, Indonesia at 0315 Beijing time on Wednesday (1915 GMT Tuesday), the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 68.0 km, was initially determined to be at 1.4 degrees north latitude and 126.4 degrees east longitude.
