Premier Li mourns victims of Brussels attacks

Premier Li Keqiang paid his respects to the victims of the deadly bomb attacks in Brussels and expressed condolences to their families when he was attending the first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Leaders' Meeting on Wednesday in Sanya, South China's Hainan province.

At least 34 people were killed in twin attacks on Brussels International Airport and a rush-hour subway train in the Belgian capital on Tuesday.

China firmly opposes terrorism in all forms, and is willing to enhance cooperation with the international community to jointly safeguard world peace and stability, said the Premier.
