China will stay committed to a peaceful development path and does not accept the logic that a country will seek hegemony once it gets strong, President Xi Jinping pledged while addressing a banquet hosted by Lord Mayor of the City of London Alan Yarrow.
"No one and nothing -- nor any reason -- can sway China's determination and will to pursue the path of peaceful development," Xi added.
The new type of international relations, as Xi said, features win-win cooperation and creates a community of common destiny for mankind.
