Strong-will
- US Vice President Joe Biden
When Joe Biden visited China in December 2013, he said that Xi was candid and pragmatic, adding that the two traits are urgently necessary in the development of new type relations between China and the United States.
That pragmatism is reflected in the initiatives launched by Xi. From the Chinese Dream, the Belt and Road Initiative to the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Xi has taken several key steps to develop the Chinese economy and carry out effective regional integration. What's more, Xi's strong personality is evident in his efforts to push forward structural reforms and root out corruption.
