"Expansion of production capacity and increase in investment on the vibrant Chinese market not only show our confidence and determination on the Chinese ice cream market, but also help Nestlé to meet the growing consumer demand. We constantly strive to meet the consumers' desire for quality, innovative and safe ice cream products."said Ouyang Kai,vice president of Nestlé Greater China Region Ice Cream Business Unit.

Ouyang Kai went on to say, "The Chinese ice cream market is a dynamic and competitive market, now seasonal variation in consumption of ice cream product is gradually weakened, which means that consumers have evolved from simply pursuing product functionality into pursuing health, pleasure and enjoyment of life it brings them. Therefore, in order to win in the Chinese ice cream market, we should not only produce quality and delicious products, but also closely follow changes in the local consumption fashion andlaunch innovative and healthy products relying on our R&D expertise."
