THE HAGUE - One more victim of the MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine has been identified, resulting in a total of 295 identified victims, the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice announced on Tuesday.

The Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight crashed on July 17, 2014, killing 298 people, with among others 196 Dutch citizens. Three people have now been unidentified and all of them have the Dutch nationality.

All identifications of the victims have been carried out in Hilversum by the National Forensic Investigation Team (LTFO) based on tooth status, fingerprints or DNA.

Information on the remaining three unidentified victims might be available on the body parts currently present in Hilversum, but according to the ministry it is not sure when or if this information will become available. It is also possible that the remains of these missing persons are not recovered yet at the crash site.
