BEIJING -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday urged Japan to implement the four-point agreement reached between the two countries a day earlier.
He said that Japan should take the agreement seriously, earnestly abide by it and implement it so as to create "a necessary and good atmosphere" for a meeting between the countries' leaders.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Saturday that he welcomes the reduction in tensions between China and Japan.
